How to Build Entire Funnels and Courses with ClickFunnels + Claude MCP (We Tested It Live)
We connected Claude's MCP server to ClickFunnels and built opt-in pages, courses, and lessons from a single video transcript -- live on stream. Here's exactly how it works and what you need to know.
How to Build Entire Funnels and Courses with ClickFunnels + Claude MCP (We Tested It Live)
Okay so we just did something pretty wild on our live stream and I have to tell you about it because this changes the game for anyone building funnels, courses, or content inside ClickFunnels.
We took a video transcript -- literally just a raw, unformatted transcript from a livestream -- dropped it into ClickFunnels' AI editor, and watched it build a complete opt-in page in about two minutes. Headlines, bullet points, testimonials, images, the whole thing. Then we connected Claude to ClickFunnels via MCP and had it create an entire course with lessons, all from that same transcript.
Let me break down exactly what happened and how you can start doing this yourself.
The ClickFunnels AI Editor: Opt-In Pages from Transcripts
Here's the first thing we tested. Inside the ClickFunnels page editor, you can now give the AI a prompt along with your content and it will build out entire page sections for you.
The prompt was simple: "Build me an opt-in page based on this transcript. Start with a curiosity hook headline. Generate an image that represents the video."
What happened next was honestly impressive. The AI grabbed pre-made section templates, swapped out all the Lorem Ipsum placeholder text, and dropped in content pulled directly from the transcript. It created a curiosity-driven headline, wrote supporting sub-headlines, generated bullet points summarizing the key takeaways, and even added testimonial sections.
In two minutes flat, we went from raw transcript to a functional opt-in page.
Now here's the thing you need to know -- and this tripped us up at first -- the AI defaults to whatever style guide you have attached. So if your page is coming out with weird colors or fonts that don't match your brand, check your style guide. That red header we saw? That was the default style guide kicking in. Once you know that, you can set it up once and every page the AI builds will match your brand.
One-Click Upsells: The Offer Wall Strategy
While we were in the editor, we also tested out the one-click upsell feature. Picture this: someone just bought your product, they land on your thank you page, and below the order summary you have an offer wall with three additional products.
ClickFunnels now lets you set any button as a one-click upsell. Because the customer already entered their payment info on the sales page, they can add products to their order with a single click. No re-entering credit card info. No friction.
What's cool is you can have multiple variants of the same product at different price points, so you could offer three tiers right there on the thank you page. We're still testing how this works inside OfferLab specifically, but the potential for increasing average order value is massive.
The Real Magic: Claude MCP + ClickFunnels
Now here's where it gets really interesting. Claude (Anthropic's AI) now has an MCP connection to ClickFunnels. MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, and what it means in plain English is that Claude can directly talk to your ClickFunnels account and create things for you.
We tested this live. The prompt was: "Create me a new course about OfferLab and make this transcript the first lesson." Claude took that 18-minute transcript and turned it into a structured course with properly formatted lessons -- headlines, paragraphs, bullet points, all of it.
To get this set up, you need:
- Claude Pro (the paid desktop version -- about $20/month)
- The ClickFunnels MCP connector -- find it under Settings > Connectors in Claude's desktop app
- Make sure ClickFunnels is toggled on in your Claude tools
Once connected, Claude can create blog posts, courses, lessons, and pages directly in your ClickFunnels account. Tim Hwitt from the community has been using this to migrate 500+ blog posts -- having Claude read content from existing URLs, pull the text, and push it into new ClickFunnels blog posts automatically.
Scraping Content with Claude
One of the things we discovered is that Claude can actually go out and read web pages for you. We tested it by telling Claude to go to a website, pull all the text, and give it back in markdown format.
This means you could theoretically point Claude at your existing content -- blog posts, sales pages, whatever -- have it scrape the content, and then use the MCP connection to rebuild it all inside ClickFunnels. That's a massive time-saver for anyone migrating platforms or repurposing content.
Claude Projects: Your Secret Weapon
Here's a pro tip that most people sleep on. Inside Claude, you can create Projects. Think of them like custom GPTs but with way more file capacity. You can upload 12-13 files and barely use 5% of the capacity, versus ChatGPT's 20-file limit.
I use a project specifically for processing YouTube video transcripts. I drop in the transcript and it gives me chapters, titles, descriptions, image prompts -- the whole content package.
But here's the critical instruction you need in your project: Tell Claude to stick to your transcript only. If you don't explicitly say "do not make anything up, do not add promises I didn't make, do not reference content from other files unless I tell you to," it will wander off and start pulling in random stuff. Legal disclaimers exist for a reason, and AI hallucinations in your sales copy is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
The Style Guide Gotcha (Save Yourself Hours)
This is the thing that will save you the most frustration. When the AI builds content inside ClickFunnels -- whether it's a page, a lesson, or a blog post -- it pulls from your style guide settings. That means:
- Colors come from your style guide (background, text, accents)
- Font sizes default to the medium setting in your style guide
- Section styles default to either the lightest or middle color scheme
If things look off, go to your style guide first. For courses, you can set the style guide at the course level. For custom courses, you can even drop in custom CSS to control things like left justification, icon sizes, and font scaling.
One quick CSS trick: set your base em to 10, and then every rem value becomes dead simple to calculate. 3.2rem? That's 32 pixels. Done.
What's Next
We're going to keep pushing this ClickFunnels + Claude MCP integration to see what else it can do. Next up, we're testing whether Claude can create full sales pages with proper checkout flows, whether OfferLab offer walls work with the one-click upsell feature, and how blog themes transfer through frameworks.
The bottom line? If you're not using AI to build your funnels and courses right now, you're spending 10x more time than you need to. The tools are here. They work. And they're only getting better.
Go connect Claude to your ClickFunnels account and start experimenting. Drop a transcript in and see what happens. I promise you'll be impressed.
