CardCollector2 lit up $6,000 in Bowman Sapphire basketball hunting the Victor Wembanyama Paper Dasha auto — the comp tracks toward $500K after the Wemby Topps Chrome Super did $488K in March — and walked away with a Lachlan Olbrich and a pair of Sienna Betts autos.
CardCollector2 set the table fast: two boxes of Bowman Sapphire basketball, $6,000 in product, hunting one card — the Victor Wembanyama Paper Dasha auto. The math is real. The Wemby Topps Chrome Super Factor did $488,000 in March and his market's only climbed since. A Paper Dasha probably doesn't clip a true Chrome Super, but it lands in the half-million-dollar conversation. Cooper Flagg and Dylan Harper Paper Dashas would also do work.
Box one delivered a Derrick White auto, a Chris Paul /25 base (close to the half-million Spur, wrong one), and a Sienna Betts auto on the back end. Solid — she sells. Not $500K solid.
Box two went off the rails on collation. The supposed every-other-pack numbered pattern blew up — numbered cards face-down, autos backward, a Bowman Chrome black with no signature. The autos finally surfaced: a Richie Saunders BYU (the no-AJ-Dybantsa worst-case), a Lachlan Olbrich Bulls auto ("Australia Premier League dude"), and a second Sienna Betts. The Wemby Paper Dasha never showed.
Math check: $6,000 spent, no Cooper Flagg, no Wemby, no Dylan Harper. Two Sienna Betts autos that move, a Derrick White that holds, a Lachlan Olbrich that, generously, does not. The hunt for the half-million-dollar card lives to rip another day.
